akihiko sanada.
☆ Apparently, he punched the previous Claire in the face and broke her nose, subsequently finding out about her ability. He didn't know her well enough when she arrived, though, to really weird Claire out, and it helped them to become friends because Akihiko was someone she was always able to be completely open with. He already knew about her ability, and therefore she didn't feel the need to hide the effects of that strain on her life from him. She's been trying to gently pry him out of his prim and proper shell and get him to let loose some now that the world isn't really ending, and bartered boxing lessons for baking lessons with him. They've been spending a lot of time attached at the hip lately.
She cares a lot about him, evidenced by the fact that she was able to forgive him for telling Tim about her ability without talking to her about it and the fact that he was able to convince her to be less afraid of confiding that secret in others. When he fought Isis and subsequently got killed for it, Claire developed a pretty intense guilt complex since she was supposed to be the only human sacrifice and the fighting could have been avoided. She handled his death in a lot of unhealthy ways and things got kind of awkward for a time between them after he came back.
After five months of run around and trying to pretend that they weren't close, Akihiko kissed Claire (no turtledoves required) and she tried to close herself off and run away, realizing that she liked him too much to be able to handle losing him and not wanting to let him get that close. After being slapped upside the head for it by her galpals, Claire apologized and the two started dating and the whole castle collectively cheered and screeched "finally!!!". Akihiko is intensely whipped and they're both … social failures. Especially at relationships.

PERSONA 3 •
BRBFISTING lois lane.
☆ Lois was one of the first friends Claire made in Paradisa because they both share a certain initiative in doing things before thinking and disregarding everyone who sits around trying to protect them. They took a trip out to the Dead Zone for some exploration shortly after Claire arrived where Lois got teleported away and Claire and the others wound up rerouting to Mineas Well, and have spent the past few months growing to have something of a sisterly bond. Lois, a black belt courtesy of her military heritage, taught Claire karate before their Dead Zone excursion and the lessons have continued since.
When Lois got possessed by Isis, Claire did everything she could to talk Isis down and try to find a nonviolent way to get the bitch out of her best friend. This just made her candidate numero uno for human sacrifice in Isis' mind. Lois still doesn't know that she killed Claire while on that loss, or that Claire is a metahuman, because her mind wasn't present during the Isis event so she has no memory of stabbing Claire and watching her heal. With Lois and Clark planning to get married, Claire has a spot reserved as bridesmaid. Or maybe maid of honor. Something awesome like that.
After everyone died and there was nothing but pain and sadness due to the Isis event, Claire took her anger out on Lois through additional, frequent and intense karate sessions. She forever keeps her guilt inside about it, though. Lois also sassy gay friended Claire through being a dipshit about her relationship with Akihiko. More recently, Claire has promised Lois baking lessons in exchange for their karate time.

LOISFUCKINGLANE stephanie brown a.k.a. batgirl.
☆ Claire was eager to deem Stephanie, her castle tour guide on her first day, her first normalfriend in Paradisa, which included a particular kind of relief that Stephanie was one of the few people who'd been around for a while who didn't know Claire from before. This helped them become fast friends and Claire was grateful to have someone she could act normal around. However, after months of that deception, the two realized that nothing about the other was normal.
With encouragement from Akihiko, Stephanie was the first person Claire willingly confided in about her ability and Stephanie, in return, came forth with her spandex heroics and added the "a.k.a. Batgirl" to her name which Claire was totally unable to take seriously because come on, really. Due to Stephanie's absolute lack of freak out and the way she took it easily, Claire has since considered Stephanie to probably be her best friend in Paradisa.
When Stephanie went on a loss in which she flashbacked to her time as Robin, Claire was sure that she'd left the castle and returned without any memories. She tried to be chill about it but was secretly crying inside forever at the loss of her best friend.

DC COMICS •
BATFAIL cassie sandsmark a.k.a. wonder girl.
☆ Another of Claire's galpal group in Paradisa, Cassie is a fellow powered teen who's had some serious drama from it of her own. Family included, which is something Claire connects with, even if her family doesn't quite reach the levels of ridiculous that the Greeks do. Cassie offered to get Claire in with the costumed hero gang and get her training with the Titans, and until that happens, they're spending some gym time together.
Like Akihiko, Claire trusts Cassie because she's always been able to be more open with her thanks to her already knowing about Claire's ability. However, she connects with Cassie more deeply in that department, making her one of the people that Claire is closest to. They have a lot of awesome talks about their crazy worlds and Cassie is slowly helping Claire get more comfortable in her skin as a metahuman.

DC COMICS •
HALFGODDESS kara zor-el a.k.a. supergirl.
☆ It took a while for them to really get to know each other; they met at the Christmas 2010 ball and spoke a few times after, mostly keeping it casual. She's pretty nice and about as snarky as Claire, which automatically got her on Claire's good side. When Kara died, Claire kind of got to know her through talking to Stephanie in that friend-of-a-friend way, and when she came back, they started having girls nights and hanging out. She's definitely a friend, at least, and Claire is determined to make up for her alien racism by helping Kara enjoy human stuff now that she knows she's from Krypton.
Like with Akihiko, Claire has a lot of guilt over Kara getting killed by Isis because she thinks that if she had just stayed dead and functioned a a sacrifice, no one else would have had to go fighting Isis and getting hurt to protect the other sacrifices, but she's never brought it up. In fact, she manages to sublimate it pretty well and instead stick to keeping their relationship friendly and positive. Kara, like Cassie, acts as a positive influence because of the world she's from on helping Claire be comfortable in her metahuman skin.

DC COMICS •
SUPERTORSO lana lang.
☆ A friend of Lois and Clark's and another person who knew the old Claire. Like Clark, she did a good job of making Claire feel right at home instead of weirding her out with the prior connection. Lana, like Lois, is a lot like Claire in the way that they don't take shit -- though Lana especially surprised Claire by carrying knives around with her when they were on the Mineas Well expedition. In fact, she constantly surprises Claire by proving to be way more than meets the eye, and while Claire can be kind of hesitant around her because of that, she generally considers Lana to be something close to family.
Lana was the only person that Claire talked with seriously about her engagement to Oliver while affected by the cursed candy hearts on Valentine's Day, and the result was finding out that Lana is a polygamist has a husband back home and got married in Paradisa, where there is no divorce. Claire looks up to her and respects her opinion, which is why she didn't really flip out on her too badly on Valentine's Day when she tried to talk her out of her wedding.

LUTHORED clark kent a.k.a. superman.
☆ He was one of the first people to help Claire feel at home and help her get over the weirdness of people knowing her very personally from her previous time in Paradisa. She sees him as a kind of mentor figure and understands that they were more or less family in her previous time at the castle that she can't remember. Thanks to how he's treated her and helped her ease in, that's more or less carried over -- particularly thanks to him inviting her to the DC Thanksgiving celebrations. She's not entirely sure how much she knows about her, and while that's a little disconcerting because of his relationship with Lois, she's not too worried. She also feels bad because during the Isis event, she promised she wouldn't get hurt when milking Isis for information and then got killed. Oops. :( Overall, she perceives him as something of an older brother, and tends to defer to his guidance and leadership when he offers it.

CLARKLIKE jo harvelle.
☆ Co-worker and friend, Jo is the one who helped Claire get her job at the Lux, a piano bar in the castle -- shortly thereafter they shared an awkward kiss courtesy of turtledoves. Overall, Jo seems to be an easygoing, put-together girl and Claire has a lot of respect for her because of it. She handles Dean's in-and-out behavior in Paradisa really well, which is a level of coping that Claire finds enviable, and she's also managed to hold a steady relationship in Paradisa with someone who she isn't with outside of it (Sam). When Sam and Akihiko died, Jo and Claire did some bonding over it, and while Claire didn't exactly approve of Jo's reaction to the memorial, she attended the small wake Jo held for Sam, which is where she learned about the whole monster hunter thing.

SUPERNATURAL •
HUNTERSDAUGHTER damian wayne a.k.a. robin.
☆ WHAT A LITTLE ASSHOLE. Damian is the resident troll, as far as Claire is concerned. She's a little in awe that some ten-year-old brat is seriously playing masked vigilante, and it really offends her more that he knew her beforehand and decided to call her a fat cow the first time they spoke since she returned and never inform her that he's known her before ... before that conversation. He likes to wax poetic about how she'll never understand him because she's normal, to which she says pshaaaa whatever, junior. He's more or less a surrogate Lyle that she can direct all of her frustration at. Except he's way better at making fun of her and getting under her skin. When he got kidnapped by Slenderman, though, she was actually pretty worried, a worry which she voiced to Dick and will never admit to Damian. Apparently he thinks he's intimidating or something, but she's not convinced. Truth be told, in a lot of ways, Claire really pities Damian for missing out on a childhood, and she's secretly planning to help him have one. Somehow.

DC COMICS •
HEIRDOM oliver queen a.k.a. green arrow.
☆ Oliver is kind of an awkward topic for Claire. They initially started to become friends during the Isis event, the first met as mutual friends of Lois' who wanted to get her back without letting her get hurt. They put a lot of time into researching ways to get Isis out of her body. Claire visited Ollie in the hospital after Lois was back and Isis was taken care of and awkwardly came near confessing how guilty she felt about it, but not entirely, and he was there for her like a true bro. And then they awkwardly almost got married on Valentine's Day and Claire bragged about it to a couple friends. Oops. As nice as Ollie was about it, Claire's trust issues and relationship fail were hammered in pretty well by the incident and she's been less comfortable with him since then simply because she doesn't know how she's supposed to act around someone she almost married.
